Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military and veterans families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world.

Complete the DAR Memorial Forest Plantations re-dedications

From 1939 to 1968, DAR of Michigan planted 11 forests totaling 1,245 acres of trees as part of the NSDAR’s penny pines project. Immediate Past State Regent Diane M. Schrift began re-dedicating these forests with new plaques to replace original signs that have disappeared into these now-mature forests.
